Child Name: Laiba

Birthday: Apr 1, 2012

Gender: Female

Country: Pakistan

Extended Biography:

Laiba is in 1st Grade at Joyful Educational Institute. Her family are Brick Kiln Debt Slaves working as a team to pay off their inherited generational debts. They are making bricks from dirt, clay and water by hand, laboring 6 days a week for 12-16 hours each day to meet their daily quotas. Because of the ancient feudalism practice known as “peshgi”, many families are unaware of how much they actually owe, and when they try to get free, the Kiln owners spike their price of freedom. If Laiba did not have the blessing of this school ministry, she too would be forced to work with her family at the kilns.

Give: Your sponsorship will help provide Laiba with daily nutrition, clothing, and a Christian Education; preparing her for a better tomorrow.
