Andrea we rescued from the garbage dump. Her parents are dead so she lives with her grandparents in the forest in Platanillo. In order to keep her from going back to the dump and staying in school, she needs a sponsorship of $50 per month. It's a lot. But she made more than that digging through the trash for recyclables and she is the main bread winner in her family. Andrea is 12 years old.
